COMMENTS & REVIEWS

What got me interested in reviewing this album is the fact that Chicago's horn section was featured on it, but to my disappointment, they only play on a couple of tracks.Résilience does in fact start with a killer track "Recreation" that features what was great with early seventies Chicago, but after that great beginning Résilience, offers a collection of songs of many different styles (ballads, chanson française, Rock...) sung by different singers. Most of the songs are in fact pretty good, but Résilience is a very eclectic affair indeed.

For most of our readers Résilience won't fit the bill because there is really nothing that can be considered vaguely Prog or Fusion on it. Still it may be a good idea to check Chardeau on it's Myspace page and decide if you like what you hear.
