The songs on Nightscape have a more traditional, song-based structure, taking inspiration from some of the great pop music of the 20th century. Also adding more cinematic textures to the songs gives this release another dimension.

On their latest album Pymlico offers the listener some very sophisticated melodic jazz-rock.
We get a 40+ minutes mixture of sometime gentle, poppy, spacey, cinematic and dynamic music. The album is excellent from beginning to end. Without sounding like any of them, I think that fans of Oregon, Snarky Puppy, Pat Metheny and even instrumental Alan Parsons should really enjoy Nightscape.
Pymlico is most certainly a band that should be discovered by melodic and accessible jazz-rock fans. Highly recommended!
