On this day, 40 years ago ( 13/2/1981), Phil Collins released his first solo album, "Face Value". Norwegian instrumental band Pymlico have recorded their own version of the song "Hand In Hand" from this record as tribute. The band says: "Phil Collins has been a great influence for us for a long time. It was so much fun trying to recreate the song in the studio and also put our own stamp on it." Norwegian jazz musician Even Kruse Skatrud faithfully recreated the brass section, originally recorded by the legendary "Phoenix Horns".
